FAQ
Why can’t I connect HubSpot?
Confirm that you have permission to install and authorize apps for the selected HubSpot account, then start the connection again.
Which contacts can I import?
You can select All Contacts, HubSpot lists, company-associated contacts, or search results.
What contact fields are used?
DropDialer uses supported contact fields such as name, email, company, mobile phone, work phone, owner, and lifecycle stage.
What appears in the HubSpot timeline?
Supported campaign events, such as ringless voicemail delivery, failure, callback, and campaign completion, can be added as notes.
Why does DropDialer need contacts.write?
It allows enabled delivery outcomes to be written back to the related HubSpot contact timeline.
How are tokens protected?
Authorization tokens are encrypted at rest and handled by the secure OAuth connection service.
What if the connection expires?
DropDialer prompts you to reconnect. Complete OAuth again to restore the connection.
Can I choose a specific HubSpot list?
Yes. After connecting, choose a HubSpot list as your contact source in the import workflow.
Does DropDialer copy every HubSpot record?
No. Importing is initiated from the selected source and is designed for campaign audience selection.

Security
- OAuth 2.0 keeps access tied to the authorized HubSpot account.
- Credential bundles are encrypted at rest, and stored refresh tokens are never exposed through the DropDialer interface.
- Least-privilege permissions limit contact and source access to the integration’s required functions.
- Access tokens are refreshed through the centralized secure OAuth framework.
- When HubSpot authorization changes or expires, DropDialer requires a deliberate reconnect.
